Worth every dime !

I purchased this product it will freeze you out at 76 degree , i installed it during construction. , at first walls were open and no insulation it was not cooling the room i thought it was the unit but as i insulted and closed up walls it got better snd better with each step, its all snout insulation!!! The unit is great for the price !!! Its ice cold in my living room now

The house is under construction so we have not completed the installation of the 2 units. I will be happy to give a review after the drywall is in and the power is on. The only complain is the lack of installation instructions with the unit. I had to down loan them on the web site.

I bought one a little over two years ago and it has already stopped working, I went and bought the same model again thinking that it would just fit right into the existing piping from the old one but no it didnt. It would seem that in the two year period Hessaire re-did the piping and made them bigger so that you will have to re-do all the piping through the walls. I will never buy another Hessaire product especially since only worked for 2 - 2.5 years.

Don’t waste your money

Please save yourself the trouble and money , this product is made with faulty parts that the manufacturer is aware of. Customer support is run by people that don’t know anything about HVAC systems or can barely provide you with actual troubleshooting. This whole company is a money hungry scam which will keep making money if people don’t actually research why spend 1200 dollars on a product that can barely heat or cool. You’re lucky if you can get it to work a few times but that’s about it .

Not DIY

The install video here for this unit doesn’t explain that you need to vacuum the lines before releasing the refrigerant but the manual says it does. Know that this isn’t like a real diy unit that has pre charged lines and quick connects. You will need a vacuum pump, a line gauge, and an adapter that is hard to find on a weekend because most hvac supply places are weekday only. The outside unit also squeaks & is brand new. I just installed it & I will see how well it works otherwise.

Install was in for just over a year, and it's dead

Local AC company installed it for me and it worked great for the first summer, but the second it wouldn't cool and after a recharge still doesn't work. They are suggesting either a replacement with a company you can buy parts for or replace the whole unit. Turns out they replace ones like this all the time. I would not recommend buying it.

Two year review

I purchased this mini split system for an add on I did to my home, and did not have the budget to run duct work to the room. My brother who does HVAC for a living suggested a mini split as a viable option. it's been two years since the installation, plenty enough time to test this through two brutally cold winters, and two hot summers. This unit is a beast. In the winter I can't take it above 68 without the room being so warm your taking off clothes which is comforting during those bitter cold days. In the summer, this unit will freeze you out. it's super low maintenance, just ensure you blow out the filter monthly. The remote control setting option is so nice for laying in bed and setting your desired temperature. I am so impressed with this unit I will probably slowly convert the rest of the house when my main unit finally dies. Definitely recommend this product!

We bought this because we needed a heating component. I was skeptical at first but so far it heats pretty well and I’m a harsh critic. I would say this is definitely the best budget option in its price category.

I am very pleased with the ease of installation, the quietness and the effectiveness of this unit. It is installed in the master bedroom and completely cools the area about 15 minutes. The exterior Compressor is virtually silent. We cannot even hear it running. I’d recommend this unit to anyone considering this type of cooling system.

Easy dyi

Easy to install as it comes fully charged. Did purchase couple of tools - vacuum pump, torque wrenches, etc -it was actually fun to learn how to do this. Runs very well. Super quiet. Wish they had a little bigger remote.(Yes, I am not part of the nimble fingered younger generation!)

This unit was priced lower than most units but, the package contains all wiring, tubing and all connections which made the install very easy. The performance of this unit is astounding, Cooling can occur with 5 minutes even in 90 degree heat. Highly recommend!
