Steve Harvey Actually Seemed Amazed At A Contestant Who Gave The "Stupidest" Answer
In June 2024, an episode of Family Feud that will likely go down in the show's history aired. During this truly mind-blowing episode, one of the contestants gave an answer that legitimately seemed to blow Steve Harvey away.
At the time, The Daily Mail published an article about how amazed Family Feud fans were by the answer and Harvey's reaction. During this episode, one of the questions that Harvey asked seemed destined for some problematic answers.
"Women love a man in uniform. Men love a woman in what?"
Even though that question seemed designed to attract potentially offensive answers, Harvey seemed shocked by one of the contestant's answers. After all, the contestant, a man named Jeff, gave an answer that even they recognized could get them in trouble.
"I'm going to get myself in trouble with my wife. But the kitchen."
From the moment that Jeff uttered that answer, Harvey and Family Feud's studio audience had huge reactions. In Harvey's case, he didn't seem to hold back at all as he openly mocked Jeff's answer to the man's face.

One example of an off-putting answer that seemed to shock Harvey was given by a woman who didn't seem to think about how her answer could be perceived.
During this incredibly memorable episode of Family Feud, the contestants were asked a salacious question. "Name someone you don't mind disrobing in front of."
However, one of the contestants, a woman named Kate, seemed to take the question in a much more innocent direction. To Harvey's great shock, Kate's answer to that revealing question was, "My kids."

Harvey later mocked Kate by joking about what she was doing to her kids' pyches. "You're going to put your kids in therapy, I'm telling you." In response, Kate innocently revealed that her children were babies. The perfect ending to the moment was when Kate's answer wound up being on the board.
As a Newsweek article revealed, another off-putting answer that Steve Harvey mocked involved part of the human body. During an episode of Family Feud, Harvey asked the contestants to, "Name something that starts with the word 'belly.'"
While that is a somewhat strange question, the really weird thing that happened was a contestant who answered, "Belly Jelly". In response to that strange and confusing answer, Harvey mercilessly mocked the contestant to their face.

However, Nana didn't appear on the board which led to Harvey asking the next family member in line.
Much to Harvey's surprise, the next family guessed Nana as well. In fairness to the second family member, she pronounced Nana differently than the proceeding person. However, since the two pronunciations of Nana would be spelled the same, there was no way one could appear on the board while the other didn't.
After the second family member guessed Nana, the studio audience began clapping as they usually did. However, the audience probably wasn't prepared for what happened next as Harvey turned to face them and told them to stop.
“Stop clapping. What, is you trying to say it in Spanish or something?”
Later during the same question, something similar happened with the same person. Although someone had already guessed Mommy, the same contestant guessed something that was pronounced virtually the same. While the contestant was likely thinking of the word Mami, Harvey wasn't having it. When the crowd applauded, Harvey told them, “Let me ask y’all something. Y’all crazy?”
Harvey then forced the contestant to give him another answer and they stated that they wanted to guess Mom but recognized it was on the board already. By that point, Harvey had already been so exasperated that he mocked her by miming that he was tap dancing while saying mommy over and over. So when the contestant wanted to guess Mom, he gave up and pretended like it was a new answer.
