Our trustee, Steve Baker, who is also the Chair and Co-Founder of Eden Sustainable Ltd, has shared his takeaways from his recent eventful visit to #LondonClimateActionWeek.The launch event was hosted by Rt Hon Chris Skidmore OBE, former Energy Minister and chair of the Net Zero Review & Dan McGrail, Chief Executive of @Renewables UK.The Mission Zero Coalition unveiled its pivotal ‘At a Crossroads’ report, highlighting critical junctures in the UK's journey to achieving net zero. Eden Sustainable have been one of the stakeholders contributing to the report via the @Power Generation Network over the last few months.“They facilitated a fascinating panel discussion about the report and actions that need to be taken by a new Labour Government. The report is really insightful and underscores the urgency for decisive action to meet the UK's 2050 climate goals, notably the need for enhanced policies and accelerated implementation across sectors”. - Steve BakerNext up was the Climate Innovation Forum held at the Guildhall in the City. There were over 2000 delegates including leaders from industry, policymakers and innovators all discussing sustainable solutions.
