It's been a couple of weeks since the events at the Yagi household where Izuku unveiled his quirk and let it be known that he wasn't about to take anymore sh*t. 
With him cutting off Katsuki's arm without any hesitation caused quite a bit of controversy to say the least. Everyone besides Izuku was panicking out of their mind as they saw the limb of Katsuki rolling on the floor with blood spewing from it. As they rushed him to the hospital with his arm in toe, however Izuku couldn't care less about the ash blonde. If he could use his quirk on him for years, causing him injuries without any concern for his health then why should he.
This caused quite a fit from Masaru and Mitsuki would the latter would reprimand Izuku for his actions towards their son, asking why would he cut off his friend's arm. 
Izuku: "Friend? You're joking right? I haven't been friends with this bastards in years. Ever since I was diagnosed as quirkless your villain of a son and those idiots he hangs out with have caused my life a living hell. My body was riddled with scars that i shouldve died from a long time ago if it wasnt for a quirk activating glare due to immense stress and strain. It's time you realize your son is nothing but a villian and his ego will get too many people killed. Plus it's called payback."
Izuku made it known about Katsuki and the others actions towards him over the years. Though they tried to deny it and downplay it by calling it a little rough housing. Izuku was able to summon a clone of his old self with all the injuries and scars all over his body. 
Izuku: You call this a little rough housing? What's stopping me from taking this evidence to the police and having you all arrested?" Don't piss me off!" 
Izuku looked at his past with a cold glare. Walking past them. Izumi could only look at her brother in shock as his new demeanor was one that instilled fear in them. How he nearly killed their dad and how he cut Kastuki's arm with no remorse in his face. 
Inko couldn't believe what happened to her son. She didn't know that Izumi and the others were physically abusing him and he was hiding those scars. To be honest she could understand why he almost killed her husband and cut Katsuki's arm.
Inko: Izumi I want to know everything that has happened to your brother over the years and I want to know everything young lady.
Izumi: "Y-Yes mom?!"
Needless to say a lot the police were involved and many people were arrested over the next several weeks. As Izuku would talk about his suffering to the news as he would have the Japanese law enforce protection for the quirkless.
