Monday at her son's home in Wheatland. She was born July 16, 1927, in Lawrence County, the daughter of Frank and Emma Alice (Seward) Tewell. She was a homemaker and life member of the Free Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, Grant E. Fields whom she married Jan.
13, 1945; a daughter, Sandee Hatton of Bruceville; three sons, Larry E. Fields of Wheatland, Paul L. Fields of Greenwood, and Ollie F. Fields of Hutsonville, a sister, Mildred B. Lyle of Lawrenceville, 10 grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren.

Morley, 82, Bruceville, died Monday at her son's home in Vincennes. Born Nov. 17, 1912, in Bruceville, she was the daughter of Nathaniel and Mary Ellen (Townsley) Clark. Morley was a lifelong resident of Bruceville and a member of the Bruceville United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and the True Blue Sunday School class. Surviving are her son, James Q.
and John W. Morley of Evansville, Floyd E. Morley of Vincennes, and Joe A. and Charles L. Morley of San Diego, two daughters, Wanda J.
Schutter of Howe, Texas and Sarah F. Morley of Bruceville; a sister, Mabel Viehe; 10 grandchildren; nine stepgrandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She married Warren Morley on Jan. 23, 1940. He died May 1, 1985.

Wanda L. Murray, 57, Bridgeport, died at 12:10 p.m. Monday at St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville. She was born Oct.
13, 1937, in Lawrenceville, the daughter of Roy W. and Violet (Farlow) Corrie. Murray worked at the Senior Citizen Center in Lawrenceville and attended the Wesleyan Church in Bridgeport. Surviving are two daughter, Lesley Vantlin of Bridgeport, Robin Murray of Fort Branch, five sons, Wayne Murray Jr. of Keensburg, Eric Murray of Salem, and Roy, Stewart and Robert Murray of Bridgeport; a sister, Mary James of Bridgeport; a brother, Albert Corrie of Olney; and 14 granchildren.

Hazel L. Slawson ROBINSON, Ill. Hazel L. Slawson, 90, Robinson, died at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Crawford Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
Born July 15, 1904, in Rudolph, Ohio, she was the daughter of Carl and Lola (Conn) Christenson. He also appointed Chris Ramsey to serve as the defendant's counsel. Hill is charged with breaking into and entering and Building Supply on Dec. 25, 1993, and again on Jan. 22, 1994. He is also accused of entering two private buildings.
Hill was returned to the Knox County Jail, where he is being held on $12,000 bond. Township High School and in 1924 she graduated from Lockyear Business College in Evansville. Slawson worked for the Ohio Oil Company from 1924-27 and was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Robinson. Surviving are a daughter, Jean Dunn of Robinson; a sister, Mary Hill of Homestead, three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Her husband, Arthur E. "Esco" Slawson, whom she married Oct. 28, 1928, died in 1971. A brother is also deceased. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m.

Charles Eugene Stephenson LUTZ, Fla. Charles Eugene Stephenson, 76, Lutz, died Monday as the result of an auto accident. He was born April 28, 1919, the son of Charles L.
and Ruby A. (Walker) Stephenson. In 1937 he graduated from Freelandville High School and was a retired air traffic controller. Stephenson was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Nazarene church. Surviving are three daughters; three sisters, including Gladys Brocksmith of Freelandville and Lucille Baker of Vincennes; four brothers; and several grandchildren.
His wife died in 1988. Arrangements are pending. Harold N. Clinkenbeard FORT WAYNE Harold N. Clinkenbeard, 67, Fort Wayne, died March 29 at Parkview Memorial Hospital.
Born in Freelandville, he lived in Fort Wayne for 35 years. Clinkenbeard was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II and a high school teacher for Fort Wayne Community Schools from 1959-73. From 1973-90 he was a field supervisor for the State Department of Public Instruction. He retired in 1990. Surviving are his wife, Willodean Clinkenbeard; four daughters, Pamela Clinkenbeard of Hamden, Cheri and Cindi Clinkenbeard of Fort Wayne, and Tami Clinkenbeard of New York City; three brothers, Lloyd Clinkenbeard of Santa Anna, Mert Clinkenbeard of Highland and Joe Clinkenbeard of Valparaiso; a sister, Bea Rodgers of Garden Grove, and his stepmother, Catherine Clinkenbeard of Richmond.

McDowell graduated from Lincoln High School and was a member on Sanlando Methodist Church in Longwood and the Betta Sigma Phi sorority. Hugh Hunt MAYFIELD, Ky. H. Hugh Hunt, 79, Mayfield, died at 6:40 a.m. Saturday at his home. He was born April 22, 1915, in Mayfield, the daughter of Dr.
Herbert Hobson and Maie (Wilford) Hunt. He was an military policeman in the Army during World War II, serving in the Pacific Theater. Hunt was civil enginner who was project engineer for the first tri-level bridge in Indiana and, for 20 years, he worked for the departments of transportation in Kentucky and Indiana. Hunt also worked for the private engineering firms of Scieco and Michael Baker, in Florida and Tennessee. Hunt was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Sigma Nu at the University of Kentucky.
